The Cochise County Jail District board convened Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the Board of Supervisors hearing on Melody Lane in Bisbee and approved four consent agenda items by a 3-0 vote before adjourning.
An unidentified presiding speaker opened the meeting, noting the date and location and describing attendance and remote-access procedures. During roll call, Supervisor Crosby (District 1) said, "Crosby is here," Supervisor Gomez (District 2) said, "Gomez is here," and Supervisor Antoneree (District 3) said, "Antoneree is here." The presiding speaker noted all supervisors were present with Mr. Crosby attending remotely.
The board considered a short consent agenda that the presiding speaker summarized as: approved minutes, approved demands, an approved data-sharing agreement and approved Amendment 2 to agreement 23128. An unidentified board member moved to approve consent agenda items 1 through 4, a second was recorded, and with no discussion the board voted. The presiding speaker called for the vote; three board members answered "Aye," and the presiding speaker said, "Motion carries." The presiding speaker later stated the consent agenda was approved "3 to 0."
No public comment was recorded for the meeting, and the presiding speaker adjourned the Cochise County Jail District meeting shortly after the vote.
The meeting record does not name who moved or seconded the motion, and no additional substantive discussion, presentations, or formal actions were recorded beyond the consent-item approvals and adjournment.
