The Kershaw County School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to accept administration recommendations concerning employment matters after an executive session on personnel.
Board members first moved into executive session to discuss resignation and retirement of certified and classified personnel, employment of certified and classified personnel, and assignment changes and transfers. The motion to enter executive session was made by Mr. Reeves and seconded by Coach Blackman; the board recorded the ayes.
After reconvening to open session, the board considered administration recommendations on the personnel matters discussed in executive session. "Is there a motion to accept administration recommendation concerning employment matters?" the chair asked; the motion was properly made by Mr. Cameron and seconded by Mr. Reeves. The board approved the recommendations by unanimous voice/raise of hands.
The board then moved to adjourn the meeting and closed with a prayer.
