"We don't want to just be this one‑stop shop when everybody comes out on Christmas and then we don't see them again," Brown said, explaining the group's goal of tracking family success across months.
Council members expressed support and encouraged the public to read the program packet and consider volunteer or financial contributions. No formal appropriation or budget vote occurred during the work session; Brown said she will return with additional requests as programs are scheduled.
