Redmond is marking the one-year anniversary of the Redmond 2050 comprehensive plan and has posted draft amendments to the municipal code (draft changes to Title 13 and Title 15) for public review; the proposals would update rules on water, wastewater, stormwater, buildings and construction.
Marvin Hardy noted the city is marking one year since adopting Redmond 2050 and thanked residents for their role shaping the comprehensive plan.
"This week marks 1 year since we adopted Redmond 2050, our comprehensive plan update," Hardy said, adding the plan has helped guide planning for housing, jobs, transportation, parks and recreation.
Hardy also announced that Redmond is updating sections of the municipal code and that draft changes to Title 13 and Title 15 are available for review and comment. "These draft changes would update rules regulating water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructures, buildings, and construction," he said.
The city encouraged public review and comment on the draft code changes.
