The contract includes a base fee and allowances totaling $2,070,500; the mayor or acting mayor is authorized to execute documents to effectuate the agreement.
Controller Diane Waldron linked the contract and appropriation to the joint board action earlier in the meeting, noting the bond issuance decision had been taken at the joint board session. A council member said the Pre-K contract is "connected" to the earlier appropriation and bond authorization.
Next steps: staff will finalize contract execution and begin procurement and design activities associated with the Edgewood Pre-K renovation. The bond issuance will be completed as authorized to finance the wider Edgewood School "renovate as new" project.
