Commissioner Nobick urged a full review with traffic studies, noting piecemeal changes can produce unintended effects.
City Attorney recommended either maintaining the suspension pending a workshop and traffic-engineer analysis or reinstating enforcement and then pursuing changes. The commission directed the city manager and attorneys to meet with Commissioner Caldwell, obtain a traffic-engineer analysis, hold a workshop, and return with recommendations within 90 days.
No formal vote to reinstate enforcement occurred; staff said the current status is suspension of enforcement for the two sections pending the workshop and analysis.
