School committee approves graduation and competency-determination policies for Class of 2026 after agenda labeling confusion

Motion to approve was made by Mister Gomes and seconded by Miss Oliver.
Committee members asked for clarity on supports for English learners and how appeals will operate while students remain enrolled; the presenter said bilingual instruction and school-level transcript reviews will be part of the process.
