Redevelopment commission approves property transfers and sales including 403 Jackson and 928 West Marion parcels

Adam Phan, assistant director of redevelopment, presented a Board of Public Works memo transferring 403 Jackson Place to the commission; commissioners approved acceptance of the transfer by voice vote.
Staff also reported an offer to purchase one of the parcels the commission previously offered; the commission approved the sale and transfer of 403 East Jackson (Jackson Place) to Alondra Salazar and approved the form of purchase agreement. Separately, staff explained that a parcel offered last month—attached to a residence on Marion—had been lost in a tax sale, the owner submitted an offer to reacquire it, and the commission approved accepting the offer and the purchase agreement to transfer the parcel at 928 West Marion Street to the named buyers.
All property-transfer and sale measures were approved by voice vote.
