The chair reported that the application period for the vacant DDA director position closed and that the review committee received 17 applications. The chair said a review committee of four or five people (including the chair) will narrow the list to the top four or five candidates for interviews.

If a candidate stands out and remains available, the chair said the DDA could make an offer and expect a new DDA director within about 30 days. Committee composition, interview dates and candidate names were not provided at the meeting.

Board members asked for a prompt review and indicated they will proceed with interviews once the committee identifies top candidates.
