Cochise County Flood Control District approves consent agenda items

The Cochise County Flood Control District met on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Supervisor's Hearing Room in Bisbee and approved consent agenda items 1 and 2 by a 3-0 voice vote.

The meeting opened with the Presiding Officer calling the session to order and noting the date and location. The Presiding Officer reviewed procedural matters, telling attendees that agenda items could be modified, attachments might be updated after publication and that presentation materials displayed at the meeting could differ from the attached versions. The Presiding Officer also said board members and members of the public could attend via Microsoft Teams or the mobile app and explained that public comment could be permitted during discussion of any agenda item; speaker request forms were to be submitted to the clerk by 9 a.m. on the day of the meeting.

During roll call, Supervisors Crosby (District 1), Gomez (District 2) and Anthony (District 3) were recorded as present, with Crosby attending remotely by Microsoft Teams. "Let's call to order the flood control district, meeting," the Presiding Officer said at the start of the session.

Supervisor Gomez moved to approve consent agenda items 1 and 2. "I move to approve consent agenda items 1 and 2," Gomez said. The Presiding Officer seconded the motion. After the Presiding Officer called for a voice vote and heard ayes, the Presiding Officer announced, "Motion carries 3 0."

With the consent agenda approved, the Presiding Officer stated that the Flood Control District portion of the meeting was concluded and the board proceeded to the next item of business. The meeting record does not specify the contents of consent agenda items 1 and 2.
