Emmaus HOA asks borough for meeting over unfinished roads, sidewalks and retention pond

The Field at Indian Creek HOA asked the Emmaus Borough Council to arrange a meeting with developers and staff to clarify timetables and inspections for unfinished roads, curbs, sidewalks and a retention pond, saying the HOA has received no recent correspondence from borough agencies.
Dave Skinner, president of the Field at Indian Creek homeowners association, urged Emmaus Borough officials to meet with developers and borough staff to resolve outstanding construction items in the subdivision that lies partially in Emmaus.
"For 240 homes, 50 of them are in Emmaus," Skinner said, asking that the borough set up "a meeting with Sean, Pepe, and anybody else to discuss K Builder's timetable for repairing our roads, our curbs, our sidewalks." He also requested updates on the completion date for a retention pond and on a modified plan submitted by the developer. "We have heard nothing from LCCD," Skinner said.
Skinner outlined permit timing from neighboring Upper Milford Township, noting an access-extension expired Nov. 7 and that other phases have expirations in late January and March. He asked whether Emmaus would inspect damaged curbing and sidewalks, as Upper Milford has done in its portion of the development.
A borough representative in the meeting noted the planning commission had the item on its agenda and said the borough had not received the HOA's submissions. The borough asked the HOA to forward any lists of damage or documentation to the borough engineer so staff can review them and arrange a meeting if needed.
The exchange did not record a formal motion or council directive; Skinner asked for a meeting and the borough offered a point of contact and requested written submissions to the borough engineer as the next step.
