Garrett Green, media relations manager for the Space Cowboys, briefed the council on the team’s 2025 season and Constellation Field activity.
Green highlighted on‑field achievements — a franchise‑record 12‑game winning streak in May, several walk‑off moments and promotions of nine players to the major leagues — and off‑field successes including an expanded reading program that reached more than 75,000 students through partnerships with nearly 120 local schools. The ballpark hosted roughly 75 Space Cowboys games and an estimated 177 non‑game events in 2025, yielding about 250 event days on the calendar, Green said.
Green also noted community and special events such as a drone show debut, Red, White and Boom returning to Constellation Field, and cultural and heritage nights aimed at inclusivity. He said Constellation Field will serve as a training site for visiting teams during the World Baseball Classic and previewed return appearances by novelty attractions such as Banana Ball.
Councilmembers commended the team and staff for strong community partnership and event programming.
