Staff offered to provide additional information about training and vetting to board members and to work with supervisors who requested follow‑up. Louimar Garza raised concerns about MOU language and sought more detail on participant approvals; the board chair removed an audience member for inflammatory remarks during public comment.
The board approved items 78–82 as shown on the agenda by unanimous vote. Staff said the SkillBridge partnership is intended as a short‑term apprenticeship pathway for transitioning military personnel and that further details on participant screening and training could be provided to supervisors.
