The firm noted the federal single‑audit report (Uniform Guidance) could not be fully issued because the federal compliance supplement had not been finalized due to federal agency timing; Squire & Company said it had performed substantial testing (including special education cluster work) and anticipated issuing a clean single‑audit opinion once the supplement is available.
Trustees and finance committee members praised the district accounting staff and the independent audit process. The board adopted the ACFR by unanimous vote and directed staff to make the report publicly available as required.
Next steps: Squire & Company will complete any remaining federal compliance testing when the federal supplement is available and will finalize the single‑audit report as needed.
