The commission also accepted notices of resignation for multiple seasonal golf associates at the county recreational facility; the motions specifying effective dates (ranging from Sept. 28 to Oct. 11) were made, seconded and approved unanimously. Commissioners said the dates would be corrected in the motion language as needed.
Separately, the commission approved a temporary maintenance supervisory appointment (name transcribed in meeting materials as Charles Cushion) and a replacement (John Ignori) at the temporary rate stated, effective October 2025; that motion was also approved unanimously.
The meeting included assurances that staff will introduce the new human resources director to commissioners in the coming week. The actions taken were procedural personnel approvals required for county operations and were recorded as unanimous voice votes.
