The Tooele City Council voted 5‑0 at the Nov. 19 work meeting to recess to a closed session to discuss litigation and property acquisition.

Councilwoman Manzion moved to hold a closed meeting to discuss litigation and/or property acquisition; Councilman McCall seconded the motion. A roll call vote recorded "Aye" from Councilwoman Manzion, Councilwoman Gochis, Councilman Hansen, Councilman McCall and the councilmember joining by phone (identified in roll call as Councilman Brady). The chair announced, "That passes 5 0," and the council recessed at 6:28 p.m. to reconvene in a large conference room for the closed meeting.

The council provided no further details in open session about the subjects to be discussed in the closed meeting.
