Fry said the hospital has received intermittent updates but that staff are not holding regular meetings with the hospital because the project is still in its planning phase. The narrowed alternative reduces design options the city must evaluate and should streamline the January presentation for council consideration.
Next steps: staff expect to present the full design request to council in January after completing the technical memo and cost estimate.
