A motion to approve the resolution was made and seconded; the chair called the vote and the motion passed. Board members asked no substantive questions during the discussion portion before the motion.
The district reported plans to seek placement of the request on the State Board of Education agenda in March 2026 so the waiver could be considered prior to the June election, if the board wishes to proceed with a bond measure.
The board did not adopt a bond measure itself at this meeting; it approved the resolution to seek the waiver so residents of the Sagebrush Territory would be eligible to vote if a measure were later placed on the June ballot.
