Council confirms Wallace Bob Langdon as Bothell municipal court judge

Council members thanked members of the court staff and the DEI advisory board for participating in the recruitment process. Council moved in two separate motions—one confirming the appointment and one adopting the salary ordinance—and the city clerk called roll for each; both motions passed 4–0.
The action followed a national recruitment process and involved input from court staff, the police department, city attorney/prosecution staff and other stakeholders. City manager said a resolution to confirm the appointment and an ordinance setting salary were the two actions before council.
