Staff also described ongoing sidewalk gap work, ADA compliance walks at the Sports Park, a planned restroom and other change orders that will be presented to council, and a timeline for the splash pad and fields (sod recently installed; ribbon cutting anticipated in spring). Sidewalk ADA repairs and inspections were prioritized, with responsive repairs flagged for incidents to be addressed within two days.
Council asked follow‑up questions about public communication for water disruptions during construction and whether portable signs could be used to notify residents; staff said standard project communication protocols will be used, with tailored advance notice for planned water shutoffs.
