Assistant superintendent for HR announced receipt of a retirement notice from JF Burns Elementary principal Cheryl Montag. The administration praised Montag's four decades-plus of service and her leadership at JF Burns: "Cheryl has modeled what it means to serve with integrity, kindness, and humility," the district statement said, and trustees offered personal remarks about her impact.
Superintendent and board members noted the only new additional item from the work session was the high-school GMP presented by HGC; otherwise, there were no substantive changes to the consent agenda. The board closed the agenda items after voting to approve personnel and routine items.
