County Recorder staff reported 63,628 ballots were issued; 22,107 early ballots were accepted and counted, meaning roughly 34.7% of issued early ballots were returned and accepted. The county recorded a total of 24,525 voters for a turnout of 27.46% of registered voters (89,310 registered at the registration deadline). Staff reported 302 ballots were rejected (commonly for missing signatures or late receipt) and 2,315 mailings were undeliverable. The recorder’s office said tabulation performance was strong: roughly 80% of ballots were tabulated by 2 a.m. on election night and 99.6% by the following Thursday evening, with final completion after the curing deadline.
Elections staff described early voting operations, mobile outreach to Native American communities, Hopi and Navajo translation services, 33 polling places (15 vote centers) with ADA devices, 17 ballot drop boxes (8,939 ballots dropped in boxes), and 223 poll workers deployed on election day. The board voted unanimously to canvass and accept the consolidated election results.
Recorder and elections leadership said outreach and operational measures—mobile units, multilingual materials and partnerships with cities and tribal chapters—helped turnout and ballot return in specific precincts. Staff indicated some data points (e.g., cure totals and error‑rate impacts) would be tracked for future reporting.
