Sweet Harvest Foods showcases expansion in Lakeville business spotlight

Community development director Tina Goodroad introduced a short video and plaque recognizing the company’s growth. Prashant Pribakar, the company’s chief operations officer, said Sweet Harvest Foods opened a Lakeville warehouse and distribution site in 2020 (100,000 square feet) and completed a new 360,000-square-foot facility in June 2024 near Cedar Avenue and County Road 70. He described the Lakeville site as a distribution and manufacturing hub, noting the company’s plans to add robotics and automation and that local hiring has increased since the expansion.
City staff said the video would be shared on the city’s social-media channels. No council action was required for the spotlight; it was presented as a recognition and informational item.
