The council approved nine omnibus consent items presented on Nov. 17. Items included: resolutions of appreciation for retiring board and commission members; a waiver of the fidelity-bond requirement for raffle operations by the School of Saint Mary; a finance recommendation to waive an RFP and authorize a contract for card processing (CardConnect) for recreation and golf operations; a one-year contract for vehicle-license processing not to exceed $40,000; authorization for the city manager to execute settlement-related agreements in connection with PFAS class-action matters involving 3M; authorization to execute a settlement agreement with Monsanto regarding PCB contamination of stormwater; a resolution to join the Illinois Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network; purchase authorization for a Toro Dingo TX 1000 via cooperative bid; and acceptance of remaining public improvements in the Oak Knoll Woodland subdivision. The omnibus motion passed by roll call (8–0).
