Dothan commission confirms weed-abatement costs after public comments

At the podium James Bruton (Speaker 3), a property owner on Whitten Street, said he had prepared his lot and believed it had been cut but received a notice about charges; staff asked Mr. Bruton to meet with city staff after the meeting to review the city’s process.
The resolution was approved following routine motions and a second. City staff encouraged residents with questions to consult the city's process and to contact the city clerk or code-enforcement staff for case-specific clarification.
