At the workshop the council authorized the mayor to sign corrected resolutions updating effective dates for two previously approved water‑utility rate increases.

The first resolution corrected the effective date for an earlier action on the water renewal utility rate (1% increase) to Feb. 1, 2026. The second resolution corrected the effective date for an already‑approved domestic water utility rate increase of 10% to Feb. 1, 2026. Both items were moved and seconded; roll calls recorded affirmative votes from Councilmembers Rodriguez, Bills, Haverfield, Reynolds and Jangula (one councilmember was offline for part of the meeting during the first vote). Both motions carried.
