The city is applying for $1,500,000 in LRIP funds for the project.
Board members asked confirming questions about the county’s responsibilities and whether the arrangement is routine; staff said the county often serves as fiscal agent when local jurisdictions are under certain population thresholds. A motion supporting the city’s LRIP application and authorizing county staff to act as fiscal agent was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
