Great Valley SD board approves consent agenda, personnel and policy items unanimously

The Great Valley School District board approved its consent agenda, a personnel motion and a policy adoption at the November meeting. Each motion was moved, seconded and approved by an 8–0 vote.
Board members approved the consent agenda of items 8.01 through 8.13 after a motion and second; the chair announced, "Motion passes 8 to 0." The personnel item (10.01) and the policies on second reading (11.01) were also approved by unanimous votes.
District staff also previewed two procurement items ahead of voting: a recommendation to adopt Infinite Campus as the student information system and a $2,550 purchase for a Bloxels school bundle and licenses that would replace a program costing approximately $1,600. Staff said Infinite Campus offers an intuitive interface, data protection and local-district support; the Bloxels purchase includes a school bundle of 300 licenses and additional licenses bringing the total to 375 for second-grade use.
