“ We are projecting revenue of $18,290,652 in 2026 in the general fund, 38,852,400 in the water and sewer fund,” staff said while pointing council members to the budget summary in their packets. Staff thanked Allison Smith and department heads for their work on the budget and offered to meet individually with council members for line‑by‑line review.
Staff said two public hearings will be held — at the December work session and at the December council meeting — before the council needs to adopt the budget for implementation on Jan. 1, 2026. Council did not take action on the budget at this meeting and staff invited council members to bring more specific questions to a follow‑up session or meeting with staff.
