Board discussion noted the process included closed sessions and counsel from the district’s real estate professional. The purchase agreement includes a deed clause that prevents the property from being used as a public, private or charter school in the future, Mark said, and board members expressed that the outcome felt like "a win‑win for the school district and the community." On a motion and second the board approved the sale by voice vote.
