City staff presented the beach activity report, noting seasonal events and enforcement contacts. Brian Peckins, assistant director of public services, said the city recorded nine weddings in July, eight in August and 13 in September; special events included volleyball tournaments, concerts and a surfing event. Keep Pinellas Beautiful reported seven cleanup events with 112 volunteers contributing about 236 volunteer hours and approximately 211 pounds of trash removed.

On law enforcement, Peckins reported Pinellas County Sheriff activity by month: July recorded one citation and 96 verbal warnings; August recorded three citations and 75 verbal warnings; September recorded no citations and 76 verbal warnings. Committee members asked that future sheriff reports break out types of violations (for example, dogs, littering, dune or trespass incidents) so the committee and public can better understand enforcement patterns.

Chair and committee members also requested the staff include trespass and dune‑violation categories in future monthly enforcement summaries and to add a short forward‑looking events calendar to the quarterly activity report.

The committee heard two brief public comments during the audience‑comment period, both thanking the committee and offering general observations about historic property and future issues; no formal action was taken on the activity report.
