Deputy CEO Stephanie Holloway told the board the district’s proposed management district plan would keep the current boundaries and levy roughly $6.5 million in annual assessments. Under state law the assessment is an owners’ association assessment, not a tax, and may be renewed for up to 10 years if the petition threshold is met.
