Orange Beach council adopts a set of resolutions, approves furniture and vehicle purchases

The Orange Beach City Council adopted a package of resolutions and purchases during its Oct. 11 meeting, approving an amendment to a grant with the National Audubon Society, several procurement actions and service agreements.

Among the adopted items was an amendment to a grant award agreement with the National Audubon Society to support stewardship of Coastal Alabama beach-nesting bird habitat. The motion to adopt the resolution was moved and seconded and passed by voice vote.

Council also approved a $32,351.74 purchase of office furniture for the police department and authorized execution of an underground electric-line easement to Baldwin County Electric Membership Corporation. The body adopted a resolution authorizing payment of legal fees to the named law firm and approved a performance agreement for the annual Merry Memories Tinsel Trail event.
