Singer reflected on his appointment and the projects he helped shepherd and closed with an appeal for the city’s future: “May our city continue to flourish, and may you always celebrate the moments that truly matter. God bless us all, and God bless Tavares.”
Residents also used the public‑comment period to thank outgoing officials and to raise local concerns, including drainage and development issues on Virginia Avenue. Council members and staff repeatedly thanked Clark and Singer and presented plaque(s) and photos before adjourning the meeting.
