Adrian Esquivel, principal consultant for the town’s Tyler ERP (financials, permitting, asset management and parks) implementation, briefed the council on Nov. 19 that the project is progressing and remains ARPA‑funded with a planned go‑live for financials and the enterprise permitting & licensing (EPL) module in July next year.
Esquivel said the finance phase completed a major milestone — finalizing the chart of accounts — enabling configuration work and targeted solution testing scheduled to start in January. The implementation team is coordinating extensive workshops across finance, community development, code enforcement and GIS to translate current workflows. Early testing (targeted solution testing) is planned for January and will simulate daily financial processes.
The project will advance to enterprise asset management (EAM) in January and parks & recreation in April. Esquivel emphasized the workload on town staff to complete workshops while maintaining regular duties and said the team will continue to support configuration, report development, and GIS integration.
Council members thanked the consultant and staff and noted the conservation of ARPA funds for the rollout. No formal council action was required; staff and vendor will continue scheduling workshops and testing.
