Board authorizes notice to bidders for Linn County Courthouse interior remodel

Gage said the bid deadline will be 2:00 p.m. on Dec. 12 with the opening of bids and announcement of the apparent low bidder set for Dec. 15 at 10:00 a.m. The board approved the resolution by voice vote; supervisors characterized the work as infrastructure‑necessary rather than cosmetic.
Chair moved to approve the resolution and the motion carried. The action authorizes staff to publish bidding documents and proceed with the procurement timetable described in the meeting.
