The Cerritos City Council highlighted Birmingham Controls Inc. during its Nov. 13 meeting, recognizing the company’s 45 years of local operations in the Cerritos business community.
City staff played a short video in which company representative Greg Gass described Birmingham Controls’ local testing and assembly operations for specialized process control and safety relief valves. The council presented a City of Cerritos proclamation and a certificate of recognition from State Senator Tony Strickland to HR/payroll administrator Tammy Mahler.
Birmingham Controls was described in the presentation as serving a range of industries — from wastewater and power generation to pharmaceutical plants and refineries — and operating a local facility at 11144 Business Circle in Cerritos. The mayor and council invited company representatives to join a group photo after the presentation.
