The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved the official canvass of the Fort Dodge City Ward 3 primary election at a special meeting on Oct. 9, 2025.
The board’s chair opened the meeting and said the board would meet "to approve the canvas" before the vote. Missus Abrams read the canvass results aloud: "Pat McCubbin received 157 votes. Dennis Paul Mirka received 142 votes. Jeanette Moss received 58 votes. And Caleb Corney received 112 votes." She also stated there were no write-ins.
A motion to approve the canvass was made and put to a voice vote. The transcript records at least one "Aye" and the chair announced, "The motion carries," formally adopting the canvass for the Ward 3 primary held Oct. 7, 2025. The board then moved to adjourn.
The meeting record as transcribed does not include a full roll-call tally by name beyond the voice "Aye(s)" captured in the audio, and several procedural lines in the transcript show motions and seconds recorded by the same speaker identifier; the transcript does not supply full individual vote records in this segment.
No statutes or other legal sources were cited during the public portion of the meeting. The board recorded no public comment on the canvass in the transcribed segment.
