Scott County staff recommend purchase of $173,315 service truck for Secondary Roads

Secondary Roads staff asked the Scott County Committee of the Whole on Nov. 18 to approve buying one new service truck to replace asset 1335, a 2010 Ford F-250 with about 136,000 miles that staff said no longer meets operational needs.
"The service truck is a mission critical mobile shop used for supporting 6 equipment sheds," the Secondary Roads presenter said, describing how the current vehicle lacks sufficient tool storage, compressed-gas cylinder storage, a crane and towing capacity.
