The city is also studying a golf‑cart ordinance by reviewing other municipalities’ approaches to determine an appropriate local framework.
On economic development, the mayor said Wendy’s is slated to open and that a grand‑opening date has been set for Nov. 11, though he said he was not authorized to provide additional specifics at the time of the meeting.
