College Place youth commission adopts regular meeting schedule for 2025–26

College Place — The City of College Place Youth Advisory Commission voted on Nov. 19 to set its regular meeting date and time for the fiscal year 2025–26. Commissioner (Speaker 3) moved to adopt the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. as the commission’s regular meeting time; the motion was seconded and the chair called the vote.
Chair Everett announced the motion passed. Miss Garcia had earlier explained the commission may set its own meeting cadence and noted historically the commission has met three times per year but may meet more often when projects require it. Commissioners discussed potential scheduling conflicts with athletics and agreed a monthly cadence could work, with special meetings called when quorum is not present.
The commission recorded the schedule as the third Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. for December, January and subsequent months for fiscal year 2025–26. The chair confirmed the next meeting date at the close of the session as Dec. 17, 2025.
