Diane Baker, host of the municipal program Canton This Month, previewed several upcoming family holiday events, headlined by "Christmas in the Village" at the Village Arts Factory on Dec. 7. The event will transform the Arts Factory campus into a winter market with local vendors, live music, children’s activities and timed Santa photo sessions.
Baker said vendors will offer handcrafted gifts and artisanal decor, and named participating local businesses and concessions. Photos with Santa are provided free by the Village Church but require timed-entry tickets, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Baker closed the preview by inviting the community to attend: "We can't wait to celebrate the magic of the season with you."
The episode also listed two ticketed family breakfasts and brunches: a Breakfast with Santa at Summit On The Park on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m., with tickets Baker said are $24 for residents and $31 for nonresidents (children 10 and under: $13 residents, $17 nonresidents). Fellows Creek Golf Club and Banquet Facility will hold a brunch with two seatings on Saturday, Dec. 20 (10 a.m. and 1 p.m.); per-person fees reported were $42 for adults, $20 for children ages 6–11 and free for children 5 and under. Reservations and ticket purchases were directed to cantonfun.org/register and the Fellows Creek reservations page.
The program's presentation focused on community access and family activities; Baker emphasized that Christmas in the Village is free to attend for all ages but that some activities (timed Santa photos or ticketed meals) require advance registration or purchase. The segment did not report event capacity limits or crowd-control measures.
