Patrick Kittner of Stanley Dernberger Hopper and Associates presented the district’s 2024 audit findings to the board, reporting no audit‑initiated adjustments and no compliance deficiencies. He told trustees the district had solid financials and improved ending fund balances (reported as about 37% at year‑end), consistent revenue sources and modest growth in sales tax collections.

Kittner explained that the audit examines both financial statements and compliance components (attendance, transportation, and federal programs) and said he had no concerns that would warrant a deficiency finding. He noted reconciling work that district staff completed in October and praised procedures and oversight.

After the presentation the board moved to accept the audit report; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
