The Park City Board of Education approved a travel request for student Anna Williams and teammates to attend a debate tournament at Arizona State University in January.

Speaker 6 (Unidentified board member) introduced the travel request and asked whether any portion of the tournament might be viewable via Zoom. "So it's in January. That'd be cool to at least be able to see some of it if we can," Speaker 6 said. Speaker 5 moved to approve the travel request (SEG 365) and Speaker 6 seconded (SEG 382). The board approved the motion by voice vote.

The board did not record conditions or a funding breakdown for the trip during the item discussion; Speaker 2 said the group typically takes a "pretty big group" to the tournament and that she would find out whether the event will be streamed.
