The Barrington Village Board approved its consent agenda by omnibus vote on Nov. 24, clearing a set of routine and project-related items.

Consent agenda items included appointments to the Environmental Advisory Committee (appointment of Jim McGrath as vice chair with term ending December 2028 and appointment of Jennifer Lucas through December 2028); authorization for staff to hire a public works maintenance worker contingent on qualifications; receipt and filing of a zoning-board-of-appeals recommendation for 1410 South Barrington Road to allow a fence variation; a planning commission recommendation for 530 North Huff Street (special use for academy uses over 2,000 square feet); recognition honoring Karen and Doug Darch; engineering services agreements for Hillside Avenue phase 2 and consulting engineering related to the Bridal Avenue water treatment plant filter replacement; an award of a three-year tree maintenance contract to Advance Tree Care Incorporated for 2026–2028; renewal of office leases at 145 West Main Street; and code amendments including Title 3 (business and license regulations) and Title 10 stormwater-management updates.

The clerk called roll and trustees voted to approve the omnibus consent agenda. The board then considered the warrants list for Nov. 24, 2025 totaling $991,742.55 across all funds; the board voted by roll call to approve the warrants.
