The South Fayette Township School District board voted to reappoint Dr. Michelle Miller as superintendent and to reappoint Dr. Kristen Dykler as assistant superintendent for five‑year terms starting July 1, 2026.
The motion to elect Dr. Michelle Miller as superintendent for the term July 1, 2026–June 30, 2031 passed on a roll call vote with multiple board members voting "yes." The board then separately approved Dr. Kristen Dykler as assistant superintendent for the same term; that motion also passed on a roll call vote.
Board President read a statement expressing "sincere enthusiasm and gratitude" for the reappointments, praising the leaders for being "future focused, student centered, and innovation driven" and noting their leadership has helped make South Fayette a destination for families. Dr. Miller and Dr. Dykler both thanked the board and community. Dr. Miller said she and Dr. Dykler feel "honored and privileged to continue our work here."
Both appointments were approved under terms and conditions contained in negotiated employment agreements recorded in the board action. The board noted these items were taken separately and were subject to roll call votes recorded during the meeting.
