Hamilton County commissioners reviewed procurement responses for several planning and construction efforts and directed staff to proceed with the next steps in evaluation.

For a consultant to help establish a community land trust, staff (Speaker 5) reported statements of qualifications from Dale and Eek; Grounded Solutions Network; and Nelson and Frankenberger and recommended sending the submissions to the Planning Commission for review. Commissioners moved and approved that referral.

For architectural design services for a proposed childcare facility, staff listed SOQs received from Singa Architects; Halsted Architects; BlackLine; Tower Pinkster; MTM; Lancer Associates; Ratio; and VPS Architecture and recommended those be forwarded to the evaluation committee that has been reviewing childcare provider information; the board approved sending the RFQ to that committee.

Staff also reported one proposal for construction manager-as-contractor services (Skinder) and recommended Buildings and Grounds review the submission; the commission referred that RFP accordingly. Commissioners requested that staff (including CJ and Steve Wood) continue coordination with the evaluation and review groups during the review process and return with formal recommendations.
