The Hamilton County Redevelopment Commission voted to approve its 2026 spending plan during its Nov. 25 meeting and instructed staff to submit the plan by the Dec. 1 statutory deadline. The plan lists bond payments as the primary expense and includes budgeted professional-services fees.

Alex Stanley of Bondree Consulting, who presented the report, said the spending plan includes a supplemental cash-flow statement "to be a little more helpful" to the commission and the auditor so payments can be timed to maintain cash in each allocation area. Stanley noted the spending plan is similar to last year’s and that the cash‑flow document is not a statutory requirement but provides useful timing information.

Commissioners asked for further detail on the plan’s tables and allocation-area balances; Stanley offered to provide additional SB 1 projection data on request. The commission moved and seconded approval of the plan and adopted it by voice vote.

The decision authorizes staff to complete required filings and to upload the spending plan to the state Gateway system, as required for this submission cycle. Staff and the consultant said they will follow up with any requested clarifying materials for commissioners.
