The Franklin Public Library Foundation reported raising over $3,000 from a recent holiday boutique and announced plans for a holiday bake sale on Saturday, Dec. 13, with drop-off of baked goods planned for Thursday and Friday morning.
Annie, reporting for the foundation, thanked donors and said volunteers had collected donated tins and platters for use at the sale. She also noted the foundation donated leftover items to Clement Manor after that facility experienced basement flooding and lost residents’ stored decorations.
The board encouraged participation and noted sign-ups will be circulated for volunteers to help at the sale.
What’s next: Foundation volunteers will finalize logistics and circulate a volunteer sign-up; the board noted the next meeting is Dec. 22.
