The Perrysburg Board approved a contract with consultant Finding Leaders to manage the district’s superintendent search, but members raised questions about fee language in the proposal and asked for clearer expense definitions.

The contract was presented as an outside-the-consent item. Several board members questioned wording that appeared to list a base fee and then additional expense lines; one trustee said the contract’s language "strongly implicates" multiple fee layers and asked for clarification before finalizing the agreement. Other trustees and administrators said the base contract amount was $15,900 and that additional costs would primarily be mileage and advertising if the board requested broader (statewide or national) outreach.

After discussion the board moved to approve the agreement. Roll-call voting recorded approval by the members present.

Board members said they expected administration to clarify any lingering ambiguity about advertising tiers and mileage reimbursements with the consultant as the search proceeds.
